About Canara Robeco Mutual Fund

Canara Robeco Mutual Fund was initially established on 17th December 1987 by Canara Bank as settler/sponsor in honouring with the provisions of Indian Trusts Act 1882 and is duly enrolled with the Indian Securities and Exchange Board (SEBI) with a registration number MF/004/93/4 on the date 19th October 1993.

Robeco Groep was identified as a Mutual Fund Co-Sponsor, which was called as Canara Robeco Mutual Fund. The mutual fund of Canara Robeco is funded by Canara Bank and Robeco Group. As the initial contribution towards the corpus of the mutual fund, the sponsors have given the trustees a total sum of Rs 10 lac. The AMC was designated by the trustees vide Investment Management Agreement(IMA) as the Canara Robeco Mutual Fund Asset Management on 16th June 1993 and it is operated by Canara Robeco Asset Management Company. The AMC was initially constituted under the Companies Act, 1956 as Canbank Investment Services Limited on 2nd March to maintain Canbank Mutual Fund Capital.

Sponsors

Canara Robeco Mutual Fund is sponsored by Canara Bank and Robeco Groep N.V. Canara Bank is the mutual fund trust's settlor. The sponsors entrusted the Trustees with a sum of 10 Lacs as the initial contribution to the Mutual Fund Corpus.

Asset Management Company

Canara Robeco Asset Management Company Ltd. (“CRAMC”) (formerly known as Canbank Investment Management Services Ltd.) is a company established under the Companies Act, 1956 on 2nd March, 1993, having its registered office at Construction House, 4th Floor, 5, Walchand Hirachand Marg, Ballard Estate, Mumbai - 400 001. The AMC has been assigned as the Asset Management Company of the Canara Robeco Mutual Fund by the Trustees vide Investment Management Agreement (IMA) dated 16th June, 1993 and executed between Canara Robeco Mutual Fund (formerly Canbank Mutual Fund) and Canara Robeco Asset Management Company Ltd (formerly known as Canbank Investment Management Services Ltd.).

Canara Robeco Mutual Fund SIP

Systematic Investment Plan is a time-honoured and simple investment strategy that supports disciplined investment over a period of time.

For any date SIP- Investors may choose from 1st to 28th of the month as appropriate any date of their choice as SIP debit date. The default date considered will be 15th if no date is specified. If the selected date falls on a non-business day, the SIP will be processed on the next business day immediately.

For the month and Quarterly frequency- 1st or 5th or 15th or 20th or 25th of every month /quarter. In case, the date fixed happens to be a holiday / nonbusiness day, the cheques shall be deposited / ECS/Auto Debit Facility will be rendered on the next business day.

Transaction charges of Canara Robeco Mutual Fund

Payment of Transaction Charges

Transaction charges will only be payable to the distributors who have specifically opted in to collect transaction fees in line with the SEBI circular no. August 22, 2011 Cir / IMD / DF / 13 / 2011.

First Time Mutual Fund Investor (across Mutual Funds)

The Transaction cost of ` 150/- for the subscription of Rs 10,000/- and above shall be deducted from the subscription sum and charged to the distributor/agent of the first time investor and the balance shall be invested.

Investor other than First Time Mutual Fund Investor

Transaction cost of Rs 100/- per subscription of Rs 10,000/- and above will be deducted from the subscription amount and charged to the distributor/agent of the investor and the balance shall be invested.

Transaction charges in case of investments through Systematic Investment Plan (SIP) shall be deducted only if the total commitment (i.e. amount per SIP instalment x No. of instalments) amounts to Rs 10,000/- or more. Such Transaction Charges shall be equally deducted in total of 4 instalments starting with 2nd instalment amount.

It is an ambiguous compositional fund that aims to catch possibilities in the domain with Indian Infrastructure. The company takes a conceptual approach to Growth Style of Investing. The fund seeks to have a base investment on concepts of strong belief. Canara Robeco Equity Tax Saver Fund

ELSS aims to provide long-term capital growth by concentrating primarily inequities to make it easier for investors to receive tax benefits under Section 80C of the Income Tax Act, 1961. There can be no guarantee, though that the scheme's expenditure goal will be accomplished. It is an open-ended capital saving scheme with a permitted lock-in period of 3 years as well as tax benefits. The schemes investment focus will be on finding good business in companies with a strong strategic role and performance assurance. The emphasis will basically be on principles that are profoundly motivated in the long-term. Overall investment needs proactive risk management sufficient protection would be integrated by AMC into the investment construction process for managing risks. Through participating only in those firms which the AMC has carefully evaluated stock-specific risk will be reduced. The safety will also be monitored and controlled by the AMC.

Canara Robeco Blue Chip Equity Fund

It is an open-ended equity scheme that invests primarily in large capital stocks. This scheme is suitable for those applicants who are willing for long term capital appreciation and want to invest in equities and equity-related instruments of large-cap companies. The goal of the scheme is to provide capital growth by investing primarily in large market capitalization firms. Canara Robeco Bluechip Equity Fund is an open-ended large-cap fund that invests on the basis of the market capitalization in the top 100 firms. The fund offers a combination of investment style of Growth and Value. The fund intends to gain profit from the rising Indian economy by investing in large-cap stocks as they can expand in combination with the Indian economy.

Investment Strategy

The fund offers a portfolio of investors that invest in large-market capitalization securities. Large-cap stocks are an attractive investment choice due to the relative advantage of market leaders, economies of scale, access to raise resources, diversification, risk-taking ability, preference given by institutional investors.
