Stock Splits + Rs 610 Dividends Next Week; BEML, IRCTC, Concor, Dixon, Other Stocks Ex-Date From Sept 21-25

At least 181 stocks will be in focus during the trading session from September 21st to September 25th due to dividends and stock splits. Three stocks are turning ex-split in the ratio of 1:10, 1:5 and 1:2, while 178 stocks will trade as ex-date. These stocks have also fixed the record dates next week to identify eligible shareholders for their dividend rewards. Some of the major stocks that will be ex-dividend include BEML, Concor, IRCTC, Bajaj Holdings, Apollo Micro Systems, MIDHANI, NLC India, Titagarh Rail and Dixon Technologies, among others.

Stock Splits Next Week

Three stocks are turning ex-split next week. These include TAAL Tech, Naturite Agro Products and Midwest Energy.

1:5 Stock Split

The first stock split next week will be of TAAL Tech, which is subdividing its shares into the ratio of 1:5. This means that the company's face value of Rs 10 per share will drop to Rs 2 per share. The record date is fixed on September 22, 2026.

1:2 Stock Split + 1:10 Stock Split

Meanwhile, Naturite Ago and Midwest are splitting their shares on September 25, 2026. Naturite will carry a stock split in the ratio of 1:2, where its face value will be cut from Rs 10 to Rs 5 per share. Also, Midwest will carry stock split in the ratio of 1:10, where its face value will be trimmed from Rs 10 to Re 1 per share.

In stock splits, the number of shares increases, the face value drops and the share price value also declines to adjust to the ratio. The reason why companies carry stock splits is to improve liquidity and attract new investors.

1:5 Stock Split Ratio Example: Let's say, A stock trading at Rs 200 per share with a face value of Rs 10, is splitting in the ratio of 1:5. You hold 100 shares of A company. So here, the face value will drop to Rs 2 per share, the value of 1 per share will drop to Rs 40 and 1 equity share in demat account will become 5 shares at the new share price value.

Pre-split: 1 share = Rs 200

100 shares = Rs 20,000

Post-split: 1 equity share is now 5 shares = Rs 40 per share (Rs 200/5).

100 equity shares will become 500 shares = Rs 20,000 investment value.

This means that your total investment or gains and profits do not change in stock split; only the share price is adjusted and the number of shares rises. 100 shares x Rs 200 = Rs 20,000 or 500 shares x Rs 40 = Rs 20,000. Either way, it is still the same. The new gains or losses is calculated in the future performance.

This is just an example, and gains and losses vary from investor to investor.
