Bonus, Stock Split Alert: Shares of AVI Polymers will remain in focus next week, as the speciality chemical company recently announced details related to its stock split and bonus issue corporate actions.
AVI Polymers' board of directors meeting, scheduled for Thursday, June 4, will consider a stock split and a bonus issue for the financial year 2025-26. The stock ended 4.97% lower at Rs 15.21 per share on BSE with a market capitalisation of Rs 143.1 crore on Friday. The stock had touched its intraday high mark of Rs 15.21 per share and an intraday low of Rs 13.77 per share on the BSE on Friday.

AVI Polymers Stock Split
The board of directors will consider and approve the proposal for the sub-division/stock split of the equity shares of the company in the ratio of 1:10. AVI Polymers stock split will be "subject to the approval of the shareholders, to enhance liquidity in the capital market and widen the retail investor base," stated the firm in its BSE filing on Friday, May 29.
AVI Polymers Bonus Issue
The board will also consider and approve "proposal for the issuance of Bonus Equity Shares up to a ratio of 10:1 (up to ten bonus shares for every one existing equity share held)." The bonus issue proposal would reward long-term equity shareholders and optimise the firm's capital structure, stated the firm in its BSE filing.
"Avi Polymers Limited, a listed polymer manufacturer with a growing focus on technology driven businesses, has announced that its Board of Directors will meet on June 4, 2026 to consider several strategic proposals aimed at enhancing shareholder value and strengthening the company's future growth roadmap. The Board will evaluate a proposed stock split of equity shares up to a ratio of 1:10 and a bonus issue of equity shares up to a ratio of 10:1," the company said, outlining the key proposals.
AVI Polymers Sustainability Expansion Strategy
Apart from capital-related proposals, AVI Polymers is examining entry into green technology and sustainability-led areas such as industrial waste management, advanced recycling solutions for materials, carbon footprint optimisation support and sustainability consulting, a set of activities that the company believes can create scalable verticals over a longer horizon.
"These initiatives reflect the company's confidence in its long term business outlook and commitment towards creating sustained shareholder value," AVI Polymers said, adding that the combination of a stock split, a bonus issue and planned diversification reflects a structured roadmap to strengthen its market position over time.

THe stock ended higher on Friday. AVI Polymers' share price touched its 52-week high mark of Rs 29.41 per share on March 12, 2026. The stock dipped to its 52-week low mark of Rs 5.43 per share on November 3, 2026. AVI Polymers stock has a return on equity (ROE) of 398.97%. The stock has delivered close to 63.55% return in 2026 so far and around 138% return in one year.
