Ace investor Ashish Kacholia-backed retail company, Aditya Vision is going to split for the first time. The retail stock will be focused on August 27 as it is the last date to become eligible for the sub-division reward. Kacholia will be among the top public shareholders to win big from the stock split as their number of shares will multiply by 10 times, while the share price of Aditya Vision will become cheaper for both new and existing customers.
Aditya Vision Share Price:
Ahead of a stock split, Aditya Vision's share price ended at Rs 4926 apiece, up by 1.7% on BSE, with a market cap of Rs 6,337.94 crore.
The speciality retail stock is near its 52-week high of Rs 5,049.95 apiece, while it has more than doubled from its 52-week low of Rs 2,155 apiece.
YTD, the stock gained by 43% on BSE.
Aditya Vision Stock Split:
The company fixed Tuesday, August 27, 2024, as the "Record Date" for determining the entitlement of Shareholders of the Company for sub-division/ split of the Equity Shares of the Company, such that 1 (one) equity share having face value of Rs. 10/-(Rupees ten only) each, fully paid-up, will be subdivided into 10 (ten) equity shares having a face value of Re. 1/-(Rupee one only) each, fully paid-up.
Hence, the ratio of a stock split is 1:10. To be eligible for the stock split, investors should hold Aditya Vision shares in their demat account by the end of August 27.
The reason behind the stock split is to enhance the liquidity of the company's shares and make it more affordable for retail and small investors.
Ashish Kacholia's Gains In The Stock Split:
As per the regulatory filing, Ashish Kacholia holds 2,04,011 equity shares or 1.59% of Aditya Vision as of June 30, 2024.
Taking into consideration the ratio of 1:10, Kacholia's current shareholding will become 20,40,110 shares (2,04,011 x 10).
