The dominance of 10-minute food delivery applications such as Blinkit, InstaMart and Zepto is being threatened by e-commerce players like Flipkart upping their business module to tap into the quick services segment. Zomato and Swiggy, the two listed online food delivery giants, are going to face competition with yet another new entrant into the field.
This time it is Ola, the online cab-booking company backed by Bhavish Aggarwal. Ola Consumer, which was formerly known as Ola Cabs, is planning to go nationwide with its Ola Dash application, after capturing a whopping 10% market share in Bengaluru.
