According to Vaishali, the stocks that are having a positive trend reversal include names like ASIAN PAINTS, AUROBINDO PHARMA, BIOCON, BSE, HINDALCO, JINDALSTEEL, LT, MAITHANALL, METROPOLIS, NATIONAL ALUMINIUM, PETRONET AND TITAN.

Stocks with negative trend reversal

Stocks that have a negative trend reversal are ADANI ENTERPRISES, BAJAJ AUTO, CEAT LTD, GLENMARK, JSWSTEEL, JUSTDIAL, MANAPPURAM, NTPC, POWERGRID, SIEMENS, SRTRANSFIN, TORNTPOWER.

Summing up-trade

Nifty opened on a positive note near the 17200 zone but could not sustain and slipped down gradually as the day progressed to erode all the gains and closed below the 17000 zone with weak bias and sentiment once again. "As said earlier, post the decisive breach below 17000 levels, 16700 zone would be the next major support level to be watched for. The support for the day is seen at 16800 while the resistance is seen at 17100," the PL report stated.
