Shanti Educational Initiatives Ltd (SEIL), a member of the Chiripal family, still seems to appeal to the investors as its shares earned a 0.73% increase on Thursday, the last trading price being ₹157.65 up from ₹156.50 previously. The stock moved between a high of ₹162 and a low of ₹150. With above 2500 crores worth of market cap, SEIL has rewarded its stockholders multiplies at a rise of more than 200% from the 365-day low of ₹52.01 and 1660% over the past five years.
The solid financial health of SEIL has been among the greatest factors that have made the company expand. For the second quarter ending September 2025, the company's figures for net sales turned out to be 9.77 crores with an increase of 236% while net profit was improved to 2.50 crores from the earlier year during the same time. On half year basis for the 6 months, net sales increased by 87% amounting to 19.60 crores and net profit grew by 50 per cent coming to 5.60 crores year on year. The company also posted impressive results in FY24 with net sales reaching ₹19.05 crore, up by 73.3% and a net profit of 3.65 crores, a gain of 8.3% year on year.

Meanwhile, further enhancement to the portfolio is the fact that SEIL now holds a controlling interest in Uniformverse Private Limited, a company engaged in manufacturing of textile garments and clothing accessories.
The investment of ₹1 crore increases SEIL's shareholding in Uniformverse to 50.50% and therefore it becomes a subsidiary of SEIL. This is in line with SEIL's plans to further strengthen its presence in the school uniform business and exploit the synergies arising from both companies.
For FY24, Uniformverse Private Ltd. reported a gross turnover of ₹7.21 crore against an Authorized Share Capital of ₹1 crore and Paid Capital of ₹70 Lacs. As per SEIL, this acquisition which is intra-group transaction was in the nature of arm's length so that there were no irregularities in the transaction and clarity exists.
SEIL has a strong reputation in the area of full-fledged education services. Over 25 thousand K-12 students are served at Shanti Asiatic Schools, SEIL's flagship brand, which is spread over several cities. SEIL is also operating Shanti Juniors, a preschool franchise with 300+ centers in over 74 cities. In 2013, the company started Hopskotch Preschool, a high-end early childhood education center with a global curriculum in a clean and child-friendly setting.
Once again, the acquisition of Uniformverse by SEIL as well as the strong financial performance of the Company enhance the position of the Company as a leader in both education and related sectors. With its fresh ideas and high standards of work, SEIL is well positioned for future growth which will be beneficial to its shareholders as well as people in the communities.
