The 18th BRICS Summit is going to take place in New Delhi on September 12 and 13 which will be joined by the leaders of the BRICS group as India as India is hosting the high-level meeting under its fourth BRICS chairship. The summit will be held at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, the same venue that hosted the 2023 G20 Leaders' Summit.

The BRICS Business Forum is expected to focus on trade, investment, technology, finance, supply chains and economic cooperation.

When And Where Is The 18th BRICS Summit?

The main BRICS Leaders' Summit will be held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi on September 12 and 13.
The programme will begin with a Business Forum on September 11, which will be followed by the leaders' meetings on September 12 and 13.

The BRICS has expanded considerably from its original five-member grouping. The bloc currently has 11 full members, comprising Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Indonesia.

BRICS Summit 2026 Day 1 Schedule: September 12

The first day of the leaders' summit will focus on discussions among the BRICS member countries. According to the schedule, leaders are expected to arrive at Level 2 of Bharat Mandapam at around 2 PM.

2:35 PM: Closed-door leaders' session on "Inclusive Global Governance and Strengthening Multilateralism"
4:25 PM: Leaders visit the "Bharat Innovates" exhibition at Hall 14

5:10 PM: Joint tree-plantation ceremony
7:30 PM: Gala dinner hosted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Level 3

BRICS Summit Day 2: September 13

The second day will continue the discussions to include BRICS partners and outreach countries. Partner-country and outreach leaders are expected to arrive at Bharat Mandapam at around 9:55 AM. The main events include:

10:50 AM: Open session on "Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainability: Shaping the Future for Inclusive Global Growth"The expanded session is expected to focus on economic resilience, innovation, sustainable development and cooperation among BRICS members and partner countries.
