Bonus Issue Alert: Shares of String Metaverse will remain in focus next week as the IT company has announced record date for its bonus issue corporate action. String Metaverse's board of directors had approved bonus share issue in the ratio of 2:9 for shareholders.

The company's board of directors has recommended a bonus issue in the ratio of 2:9 for eligible shareholders. The board has recommended "Bonus Equity Shares in the ratio of 2:9, i.e., 2 (Two) Bonus Equity Shares of Re. 1/- each for every 9 (Nine) fully paid-up Equity Shares of Re. 1/- each held by such eligible public shareholders as on the Record Date," as per the BSE filing released on Friday, June 5.

String Metaverse Bonus Issue Record Date

The company has also fixed the record date to determine the eligibility of shareholders for the corporate action. As per String Metaverse's BSE filing "the Company has fixed Friday, 19th June, 2026 as the Record Date for determining the entitlement of eligible public shareholders to receive Bonus Equity Shares." Investors must own the stock before the dividend record date to become eligible for the payout.

String Metaverse Share Price Trend

The small cap IT stock ended 3.47% higher at Rs 9.85 per share on BSE with a market capitalisation of Rs 1146.86 crore on Friday, June 5. THe company scrip had touched an intraday high mark of Rs 9.98 per share and an intraday low of Rs 9.6 per share.
The small cap stock has a return on equity (ROE) of 2.97%. It touched its 52-week high mark of Rs 32.44 per share on October 23, 2025. The stock dipped to its 52-week low mark of Rs 7.20 per share on April 22, 2026.

String Metaverse's share price value has declined close to 56.4% year to date, ie in 2026 so far. However, the stock has delivered 6,935% return in three years, as per BSE data.
