2 Special Dividend Paying Stocks To Watch Out

Dividends are the company's profits that are distributed among its shareholders and special dividend is paid in a special case so as to commemorate some event and is usually a one time payment and higher than the other dividend paid out by the company. So, special dividend in fact is a non-recurring pay-out and is separate from the normal recurring dividend cycle. Also, special dividend is known as irregular or extra dividend.

It can be also paid when the company has an extremely profitable fiscal year.

This is a small cap which shall be paying special dividend to the tune of Rs. 2 per equity share of Rs. 10 for commemorating 75 years of the company. This is for the Fy 2021. Other than this, the company will also be giving out Rs. 3 as final dividend of Rs. 3 per share. Also, the company announced the record as March 15, 2022 (Tuesday). This dividend shall be paid after the approval of the shareholder in the AGM.

DIC India is a world leading entity in printing inks. The company also caters to requirements in
Printers supplies, machinery, pigments and reprographic products.The companys inks both offset and liquid are enabled for use in new-generation, upgraded printing machines.

This is a mid cap pharma company that has declared a heft special dividend of Rs. 390 per share. In its filing, the company said, the recommendation for payment of a final dividend of Rs.181 per equity share of Rs. 1O each for the year ended 31st December 2021 and a special dividend of Rs. 309 per equity share of Rs.10 each for the year ended 31st December 2021, after considering the slump sale and transfer of Company's nutraceuticals business during the year and reviewing the cash requirements for the Company's operations.

For the said dividend the stock shall turn ex-dividend on April 12, 2022.
