Greenply posts Rs 7.19cr profit @Q3 results

Mumbai, Feb 1: Greenply Industries Ltd on Tuesday, Feb 1 reported net sales of Rs 316.54 crores for the quarter ended Dec 31,

2010. The report registered a growth of 44.86 percent.

Net Profit for the quarter reported as Rs 7.19 crores, as compared to Rs 13.93 crores posted in the corresponding quarter of last fiscal.

"We have achieved a growth of 45 percent in the company's existing plywood and laminates business during the third quarter and we expect better results in future on achieving optimum utilisations and superior value-mix in the new MDF and Laminate plants," stated company spokesperson Saurabh Mittal.

Greenply Industries Limited (GIL) is a professionally managed Interior Infrastructure Company, primarily engaged in the manufacture of plywood and other value added products used in interior infrastructure such as laminates, decorative veneers and medium density fibreboard (MDF).

The company has seven plants across the country and also caters to overseas markets.
