Sensex rallies 206 pts at closing
IDFC, Jaiprakash Asso, Reliance Infra, PNB, who among the top gainers, were at 7.47 percent, 7.41 percent, 5.44 percent, 5.08 percent up respectively.
Hindalco, GAIL, Tata Power, HUL, who among the top losers, were at 2.22 percent, 1.37 percent, 1.30 percent, 1.28 percent down respectively.

Sensex gains 58 pts, Nifty 22
At 2:29 PM, the 30-share BSE Sensex was trading at 17,521, up 58 points and the 50-share NSE Nifty gained 22 points at 5,247. The broader indices too jumped nearly one percent.
Telecom, metal, PSU oil & gas, technology, Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group, FMCG and private sector, which companies' shares are under selling pressure, restricted markets gain at the afternoon trading.
Shares of ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, PNB and Kotak Mahindra Bank rose 1-2.5 percent.

Sensex continues trading below 18K
The 30-share BSE Sensex was trading at 17,312, down 150 points and the 50-share NSE Nifty fell 42 points to 5,183. Metal, realty, technology and oil & gas sectors were putting pressure on the markets - respective indices were down 1-2 percent.
ONGC, TCS, Bharti Airtel and Wipro were down 2.5 percent.
However, buying in HDFC, ICICI Bank, NTPC, L&T, Tata Motors, HDFC, Maruti and Hero Honda was quite supportive and even capped the losses.

Nifty begins on a quite note
Following a sharp cut seen in last few sessions, NSE Nifty began trade on Friday, Feb 11 on a quite note.
Cairn India, Reliance Infrastructure, Tata Motors (ahead of numbers), Reliance Capital, Power Grid, TCS, L&T, SBI, Jaiprakash Associates, Reliance Industries, SAIL, HDFC and ICICI Bank, who among the frontliners, were on buyer's radar.
However, Suzlon Energy, GAIL, Reliance Communications, Idea, Ambuja Cements, Bharti Airtel, DLF, Wipro, HCL Tech and ONGC were limiting the gains.
