Digital Domain had worked on the visual effects on one of the most awaited movies of the year 'Transformers: Dark of the Moon'. Also the company is working over the visual effects of 'Real Steel', 'Jack the Giant Killer' and '47 Ronin'.

Reliance Mediaworks (RMW) will set up a new studio in Navi Mumbai. Additionally it will also deploy a team of approximately 650 artists for projects related with Digital Domain.

In London also Digital Domain will co-locate its entire visual effects team within the Reliance MediaWorks' UK facility. The studios will cater to motion pictures, television, commercial and stereo 3D conversion for catalogue projects from August, 2011, in phases, said RMW in a statement.

The units will connect to Digital Domain's Los Angeles facility through RMW's fiber optic network that can support seamless high-speed exchange of data.

Anil Arjun, CEO of RMW said, "RMW has the scale, technological expertise and highly trained artists which can be combined with Digital Domain's pedigree, proprietary tools and ability to create visual effects that challenge imagination, to offer comprehensive and seamless VFX and stereo 3D conversion solutions to global clients".
