Subex gets new order from Econet Wireless

Subex, a provider of operations and business support systems has been awarded to Managed Services by Econet Wireless, a telecom provider in Africa.

Subex has recently completed the implementation of ROC Fraud Management and Revenue Assurance solution for Econet. Perhaps the new orders were won on quality service provided earlier.

Econet Wireless is a diversified telecommunications group with operations in nine countries in Africa, Euroe and the East Asia Pacific Rim, offering products and services in mobile and fixes telephony services, internet and satellite.

According to the company's press statement, Subex was chosen over competition owing to its ability to offer additional components over and above the current requirement and run the applications on a managed service model.

Subex's earlier implementation of ROC Revenue Assurance is designed not only to potential revenue loss, but also to assist an operator with its investigation, diagnosis and recovery of these revenues. It also provides automated correction capabilities to improve the bottom-line results and provide a quick return-on-investment.

And the other implementation of ROC Fraud Management solution supports end-to-end fraud management, from initial information gathering and detection through case closure. The idea is to help improve the fraud management capabilities of the company. The solution ensures a rapid return on investment (ROI).

On the occasion Sudeesh Yezhuvath, COO at Subex said on the occasion, "Africa is a growing telecom market and the operator needed a fraud and revenue assurance solution that could help them achieve competitive advantage in their market."
