Below is the breakdown of orders the company received during the second quarter of FY2012, as reported by L&T through a filing to BSE.

Company secured order worth Rs 797 crore from a leading developer for its Building and Factories segment for the mixed use construction of residential, retail and commercial developments at Mumbai.

It also secured new orders to Rs 975 crore for the for the construction of a mixed-use commercial development and construction of the main civil works for an IT campus.

For construction of a residential tower, it secured an order worth Rs 203 crore and it got additional add-on orders worth Rs 162 crore from various clients for ongoing contracts.

"These orders further enhance the order book of the company which has already secured major design-and-build contracts in airports, IT parks, and commercial and residential space," the statement added.
