Idea Cellular’s Q2 PAT fall by 41%
Telecom operator’s profit stood at Rs 179.74 crore corresponding quarter previous year.
The profits during the quarter declined on account of net high interest and finance cost of Rs 253.8 crore including forex loss of 31 crore.
However, there was a considerable rise in its net revenues. The net revenues of the company rose from Rs 3,659 crore a year earlier to Rs 4,619 crore during the quarter.
It’s total EBITDA stood at 25.7% during the quarter.
On standalone basis, company’s profit stood at Rs 79.3 crore during the quarter.
The company said in a statement, that its 3G investment plans are on track and high speed broadband services are now available across 1,600 towns, in 20 service areas in India.
On Friday, the stock of Idea cellular ended low by 1.98% to Rs 91.40 on BSE.
