Bharti Telecom raises its stake in company
Bharti Telecom, India's largest cellular service provider raised its stake in the company with the purchase of six lakh shares of the company worth Rs 22.71 crore through open market transactions, the company informed in a disclosure to BSE.
The company bought shares in two different transactions from the BSE.
As per the filing, Bharti Telecom purchased 98,000 shares of Rs 3.71 crore of the company at BSE by increasing its stake from 45.58% to 45.59%.
In another transaction, the company purchased 5,02,000 shares for more than Rs 19 crore at NSE by increasing its stake from 45.59% to 45.60%.
The company had also purchased 14.93 lakh shares last week for Rs 54.51 crore through open market transactions.
Recently, the two top executives of the company have sold 1.15 lakh shares of the company of Rs 4.60 crore through open market transactions, reports PTI.
