L&T bags order worth Rs 2,700 crore
Engineering major Larsen and Toubro on Wednesday said that it had bagged orders worth Rs 2,700 crore across various businesses during October – November 2011.

Below is the breakup of the orders:

The company secured new orders worth Rs 1,109 crore for the construction of a major residential complex and warehouse facility.

The another Rs 353 crore order has been secured for the construction of a viaduct, including two station buildings, for Kolkata Metro railway.

In the Power Transmission & Distribution segment, the company bagged orders worth Rs 763 crore for the construction of transmission lines, electrical works including substations.

The company also bagged an order worth Rs 200 crore from Bahrain for electrical projects from Tatweer Petroleum.

The major order came from Delhi Jal Board worth Rs 272 crore for the rehabilitation and automation of the existing water treatment plant in Delhi.
