Sensex Nifty turns bearish after opening in green
Indian bourses opened green on Tuesday tracking Asian peers, though the positive sentiments couldn't sustained for long. As both the Indian stock exchanges reversed gains. Sensex opened at 15,436.12 up by 56.78 points or 0.3%.

At 10.40 am IST the 30-share BSE Sensex was trading at 15,360.00 down by 19.34 points or 0.13% and NSE Nifty was trading at 4589.55 down by 23.55 points or 0.51%.

On the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), the sectors seen in green were FMCG, Health Care, IT & Power, all reflected gains between 0.01 – 1%.

While on the losing side, the sectors failed to lure investors were Capital Goods, Realty, Bankex, Auto and Metal.

On the National Stock Exchange (NSE), the top volume gainers were ONGC, ITC, BPCL, and IDFC posted gains between 1.03% - 1.92%.

And the top losers in the opening trade were JP Associates, Axis Bank, Jindal Steel, Tata Steel and L&T.

On the Asian front, all the major bourses were trading under the positive terrain, with China's Shanghai was up by 0.15%, Hong Kong's Hang Seng was up by 0.54% and Japan's Nikkei was also up by 0.54%.
