Sensex, Nifty gains; CG, Realty leading
The Bombay Stock Exchange opened in green and rose by 92 points in morning trade with persistent buying of funds by retail investors amid steady trend in Asian market. Asian markets rose on Friday amid signs of a pickup in the US economic recovery.

After a positive opening, at 10:50 am IST, the 30-share Sensex was at 15,841.68, up by 28.32 points and the 50 -share NSE Nifty was at 4,773, up by 9.90 points.

At 10.30 am IST, The Hang Seng was up by 197.83 points and was at 18576.06. The Shanghai composite was up 25.41 points and was at 2212.93

Among the sectoral indices on BSE, Capital Goods, Realty, Power and Oil & Gas were trading in positive terrain.

The sectors failed to perform well in the opening session were TECk, Bankex, IT, Consumer Durables.

On the National Stock Exchange (NSE), the top volume gainers were L&T, Bhel, Hindalco, Sail and Maruti posted gains between 1.51% - 3.13%.

And the top losers in the opening trade were BPCL, Ranbaxy, Bharti Aitel, ONGC and Bajaj Auto.
