Sensex, Nifty trading flat; Tata Steel up
The Indian benchmark indices was seen trading flat on Friday tracking weak Asian trend and investors await ahead of December industrial out put.

Tata Steel which reported Q3 loss of Rs 687 yesterday, reversed the losses in the morning trade and was trading positively. The shares of the company were trading at Rs 464.70 up by 13.60 points or 3.01%.

At 10.00 am IST, the 30-share BSE Sensex was trading at 17831.18 up by 0.43 or 0.00% and NSE Nifty was trading at 5410.35 down by 2.00 or 0.04%.

In Asia, most of the major markets were trading in negative terrain, the Nikkei 225 down by 30.92 points and was at 8971.12. The Hang Seng was down by 121.33 points and was at 20,888.90. Shanghai was marginally up by 8.31 points and was trading at 2,357.98.

Among sectoral indices on BSE, sectors were trading in mixed terrain. Auto, Metal, Capital Goods, PSU were leading the rally.

While on the losing side, the sectors failed to lure investors were Realty, IT, TECk, Bankex.

On the National Stock Exchange (NSE), the top volume gainers were Sesa Goa, BPCL, Tata Steel, Tata Power, Bajaj-Auto posted gains between 1.38%-4.21%.

Losers in the morning trade were DLF, Siemens, Hindalco, Ambuja Cement and Maruti.
