Markets end the day steady; metals shine
Markets in Europe were trading higher, while the Asian markets closed higher. Metal shares were in the limelight today with Hindalco, Tata Steel, Sterlite and Sesa Goa reporting handsome gains.
Among the other shares that recorded handsome gains were IDFC and HCL Technologies.
Shares that lost ground in trade today were Tata Motors and Kotak Mahindra. Shares of Kingfisher nosedived today following reports that lessor of its aircrafts had taken possession of the aircrafts.
Markets are expected to take cues from Europe, which would have a two day summit on June 28 and June 29. Analysts are not building too much expectations from the two day summit and do not expect any solution to the Greece problems.
