
This module permits internet-based direct participation of gilt account holders in secondary market for G-secs.
This online platform NDS-OM (Negotiated Dealing System-Order Matching) system module will facilitate buying and selling of government bonds or securities online to the gilt account holders (GAH).
NDS-OM is a screen based electronic anonymous order matching system for secondary market trading in Government securities owned by RBI. To further enhance the access of such Gilt Account Holders (herein after referred to as GAHs) to NDS-OM, an internet based web application is provided to such clients who can now have direct access is access called NDS-OM Web Module.
All actions on web-based NDS-OM platform would also be governed by rules, regulations, notifications and/or any other instructions issued by the Reserve Bank from time to time, the RBI said in the notification.
