During the meet presentations were made by the allocattees of 29 coal blocks in reply to show cause notices issued to them.

The allocattees were asked to provide for following during their presentations:

• The documents indicated current status duly certified by the authorized representative (duly authenticated documents supporting the status shown may be kept available for perusal of IMG, if required).
• Details of investment made vis-a-vis the planned investment in development of coal block duly certified by Chartered Accountant. Investment in respect of end-use plant may be separately indicated with due certification.
• Progress of implementation of end use plant.

"The self certification as per CA certificate and physical progress reported by the companies was taken on record and the authorized representatives were given an opportunity to be heard by the IMG" the coal ministry said in the statement.

The next meet of the IMG is held on 12th September, 2012 at 3.00 pm to deliberate and finalise its recommendations in respect of allocattees/companies which made presentations before it.
