PSU oil companies spend Rs 383.7 crores on CSR activities

Public sector oil companies have spent a staggering Rs 383.74 crores in carrying out various activities under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Scheme during the financial year 2011-12.

 

ONGC spent the highest amount of Rs. 121.08 crore, followed by IOCL with Rs. 82.73 crore. Other PSU companies that spent a substantial chunk on CSR activities include GAIL, OIL India, HPCL, EIL, BPCL and others.
