Etihad Airways is likely to pick a stake in Kingfisher Airlines for Rs 3000 crores, the Mumbai Mirror has reported.
Shares of Kingfisher Airlines hit the upper end of the circuit filter following the reports. There were only buyers on the counter at Rs 15.60.
Cash strapped Kingfisher Airlines has been in trouble for the last several months, with the company unable to pay salaries and meet other payment obligations.
