Shares in Sun TV and Spice Jet came crashing down after reports that the DMK has decided to withdraw support to the UPA government.
Sun TV owner, Kanalinithi Maran is the grand nephew of Karunanidhi and his brother Dayanidhi Maran, was a former minister in the UPA Government. He is presently a Lok Sabha member on DMK ticket.
Shares in Sun TV were down 5 per cent to Rs 415 and SpiceJet was down 3.45 per cent to Rs 32.10 at 12.45 pm.
