India stock, forex and bullion markets are closed on account of Holi. Trading will resume on Thursday, which will be the last day of expiry of Futures and Options. Friday would again be a holiday on account of Good Friday.
Asian markets were mostly trading higher. The Hong Kong's Hang Sang was up 0.76 per cent, while the Korean Kospi was up 0.45 per cent and the Singapore's Strait Times was up 0.37 per cent.
Meanwhile, in the US the Dow Jones closed at a record high, while the S&P was nearing its lifetime high.
