HCL Technologies rallied 2 per cent in trade on reports that the firm had bagged an order of $100 million from Ford Motor Co.
Shares in HCL technologies were trading at Rs 790 on the Bombay Stock exchange. The stock is now close to its 52-week high of Rs 805.
Analysts in general are bullish on the technology sector after a spate of good results announced in the 3rd quarter. Also, a smart recovery in the US economy could boost order inflows from the US.
HCL Technologies is India's fourth largest IT Services company.
