Rupee recovers by 13p to 54.45 vs dollar

The rupee recovered by 13 pasie to 54.45 against the American currency in the late morning trade on fresh selling of dollars by banks on the back of lower dollar in the overseas market.

The rupee resumed higher at 54.46 per dollar against the last closing level of 54.58 per dollar at the Interbank Foreign Exchange (Forex) Market and hovered in a range of 54.42 per dollar and 54.48 per dollar before quoting at 54.
