Indian stocks markets and forex markets are closed for trading today on account of Mahavir Jayanti. Meanwhile, markets in Asia were trading higher following a surge in the US and European markets on Tuesday.
The Hong Kong's Hang Sang rallied 1 per cent in trade, while Nikkei was up 1.29 per cent and the Korean Kospi was trading slightly below 1 per cent.
Indian markets are set to resume trading on Thursday, which would also be the last day for expiry of F&O segment for April.
