Here are the gold rates in the major metros of India for 24 carats as at 10.30 am IST on April 26.

Delhi:Rs 27,170 per 10 grams
Mumbai:Rs 27,100 per 10 grams
Chennai: Rs Rs. 27,490 per 10 grams
Kolkata: Rs 27,240 per 10 grams
Bangalore: Rs 27,500 per 10 grams
Hyderabad : Rs 27,490 per 10 grams

22 carat

Delhi: Rs 25,220 per 10 grams
Mumbai: Rs 25,150 per 10 grams
Chennai: Rs 25,710 per 10 grams
Kolkata: Rs 25,290 per 10 grams
Bangalore: Rs 25,750 per 10 grams
Hyderabad: Rs 25,750 per 10 grams

International gold surged more than 1% on Friday as buying activity picked up in Asia after a steep fall in prices. Spot gold was seen at $ 1,474 an ounce.
