Here are the gold rates in the major metros of India for 24 carats as at 11.10 am IST on April 29.

Delhi:Rs 27,480 per 10 grams
Mumbai:Rs 27,410 per 10 grams
Chennai: Rs Rs. 27,820 per 10 grams
Kolkata: Rs 27,550 per 10 grams
Bangalore: Rs 27,850 per 10 grams
Hyderabad: Rs 27,800 per 10 grams

22 carats

Delhi: Rs25,510 per 10 grams
Mumbai: Rs 25,430 per 10 grams
Chennai: Rs 26,020 per 10 grams
Kolkata: Rs 25,580 per 10 grams
Bangalore: Rs 26,000 per 10 grams
Hyderabad: Rs 26,000 per 10 grams

International gold rose more than 1% and was seen at $1,470 an ounce.
