Bharti Infratel net in line; stock down

Bharti Infratel results that were in line with expectations with net profits for the quarter ending March 31, 2013 coming in at Rs 193.9 crores, compared to Rs 129 crores for the quarter ended March 31, 2012. Total Income increased from Rs 1078.6 crores for the quarter ended March 31, 2012 to Rs 1277.4 crores for the quarter ended March 31, 2013.

For the entire year ending March 31, 2012 the company has posted a net profit of Rs 1009.8 crores for the year ended March 31, 2013 as compared to Rs 449.2 crores for the year ended March 31, 2012. Total Income has increased from Rs 4269.2 crores for the quarter ended March 31, 2012 to Rs 5115.9 crores for the quarter ended March 31, 2013.

Shares of the company were trading marginally lower at Rs177.
