Rupee opens at 59.39 to the dollar

The Indian rupee was trading flat against the dollar at 59.36 after opening at 59.39. The rupee's gains were marginal by 3 paise largely following a quiet day of trade.

Dealers say that the rupee is likely to stay rangebound with the equity markets also witnessing a stable trend.

Meanwhile, the Sensex was trading marginally higher by 45 points in early trade.
