As a next step in the process of Auction of Spectrum in 1800 MHz and 900 MHz band, the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) will be assessing the pre-qualification eligibility of the bidders today (Jan 25).
After the initial assessment, the list of pre‐qualified bidders will be put up on the DoT website. At the same time, each pre‐qualified bidder will be issued a notice.
With this, the 8th step will be completed in the process of auction as per the revised auction timetable issued by DoT.
"Now, the next step in the scheme of things is the last date of withdrawal of applications which closes on 27th January 2014. The Auction is to start on 3rd February 2014," a government release has stated.
