Govt to present Union Budget on July 10, Rail Budget on July 8

The Union Budget for 2014-15 would be presented on July 10, while the Railway Budget would be presented on July 8, according to television reports.

The Union Budget would be the first budget by the NDA government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

It is one of the most eagerly awaited Budget and economists believe that it could signal the government's intent for the net one year.

New reports have been specucalting that among the many things the Union Budget would hike the basic income tax level, while giving a tax break to Real Estate Investment Trusts.
