WPI Inflation falls to 5.43% in June as food inflation remains steady
The primary articles index rose by 1.3 percent in comparison to the previous month. Fuel and power on the other hand so an inflation of a negligible 0.1 per cent.

Today's WPI inflation reading showed a drop to a 4-month low, which is welcome news. However, analysts say that inflation could rear its head once again, given the worries over a deficient monsoon. Hence, the Reserve Bank of India may not be in a hurry to cut rates anytime soon.
