rupee
The rupee opened the day weaker at 61.34 to the dollar, dropping from Friday's close of 61.14. On Friday the rupee turned weak following dollar demand from corporates and foreign institutional investors.

The trend continued into Monday morning on weakish sentiments across the globe. Forex markets are expected to trade in a range given that it is going to be a truncated week.

Indian stock markets are also expected to open weak in line with the currency markets. Check currency rates here
