Rupee Opens Strong at 61.25 to the Dollar
The Rupee opened the day strong at 61.25 to the dollar as against its previous close of 61.32 to the dollar. The dollar was seeing some weakness across the globe and its effect was also felt in India.
Global cues also remained strong which pushed the rupee higher in early trade. Dealers say the currency would continue to remain strong on account of global strength.
