The rupee opened the day flat at 61.35 to the dollar, as against a similar closing seen on Monday. Forex markets were closed on Tuesday on account of Muhurram. Global cues were marginally weak on Wednesday on profit booking in markets across Asia, though the US closed marginally higher.
Forex markets would once again be closed on November 6 on account of Gurunanak Jayanthi. Today, the rupee is largely expected to trade in a range.
