The Rupee opened the day flat at 61.84 to the dollar, almost the same closing seen on Tuesday. Global cues were quiet and the currency is expected to also move in a range without much volatility.
The currency has been trading in the 61 band for the week, after breaching the 62 levels last week. The currency is expected to have a quiet next week ahead of the holiday season next month.
Meanwhile, the benchmark indices are also expected to open on a sober note with a slight negative bias. Check currency rates here
