Rupee Opens Flat at 63.30 Against Dollar

The rupee opened the day virtually unchanged at 63.30 against the dollar. The rupee had last closed at 60.29 against the dollar on Friday.

The rupee had a volatile session last week after worries over Russia. However, this week the rupee is expected to remain quieter as have a truncated week on account of Christmas holidays. FIIS are also expected to remain sidelines with stock market activity also expected to be minimal.
