Rupee Opens Weak by 23 Paise at 63.43 to the Dollar

The rupee opened the day weaker by 23 paise at 63.43 to the dollar as against its previous close of 63.28 to the dollar.

Dealers say that the rupee would continue to remain slightly weak towards the end of the year on account of year end dollar demand.

Foreign funds have also been selling stocks and the dollar demand from them has also been high.

The rupee has been weakening in the last couple of weeks after remaining steady in the last few months.
