Rupee Opens Flat at 63.18 to the Dollar

The rupee opened the day flat at 63.18 to the dollar, as against its previous close of 63.17.The currency has seen remarkable recovery in the midst of a falling stock market in the last few days.

Dealers say the currency would continue to trade in a range in the absence of any major cues, though one can expect remarkable volatility in the currency given a number of global events.

Meanwhile, global cues were buoyant following better than expected numbers from the US and also on easing worries in Greece. Hopes of a stimulus from the ECB also helped support sentiments. Check currency rates here
