Rupee Opens Strong at 62.08 to the Dollar

The rupee opened the day strong at 62.08 against the dollar as against its previous close of 62.14 against the dollar. Global cues were lacklustre with most of the Asian markets subdued in trade.

The rupee has been gaining strength through the week as falling crude prices is beginning to help support the rupee, though FII inflows have largely remained flat to negative.

The currency may continue to strengthen ahead of the Union Budget next month. Check rupee rates here
