Rupee Opens Flat at 61.45 to the Dollar

The rupee opened the day flat at 61.45 to the dollar as against a similar closing on Wednesday.

The currency has been trading in a range for most of the week and is expected to do so at least until a few days ahead of the Union Budget at which time the movement could get volatile.

Global markets were having a quiet session in trade with a mostly negative bias. Indian markets are expected to open flat in trade. Check rupee rates here
