Parag Parikh, Founder & Chairman, Parag Parikh Financial Advisory Services, died in a car crash in US.

He was there to attend the Warren Buffett-controlled Berkshire Hathaway's annual shareholders meeting which was held on Sunday.

He was the first member of a Stock Exchange to start formal equity research way back in 1985.

His firm, Parag Parikh Financial Advisory Services Ltd. (PPFAS) had already established itself as a brand name in the field of research.

Today, PPFAS' clients include most of the major Indian Financial Institutions, Foreign Institutional Investors, Mutual Funds and Corporations, not to forget the individuals.

Parag parekh was born on February 12, 1954, in Mumbai, He is survived by his wife and two sons Sahil and Neil.
