Shares in SUN TV and Nestle recovered lost ground after the huge slide seen in both the stocks on Monday.
The stock was last trading higher by Rs 289.55, up almost 5 per cent over Monday's close, despite weakish trend in the markets.
Nestle was also trading higher following reports that the Singapore authorities have said that the Nestle Maggi, which is made in India is safe to consume.
Dealers say that there was also some short covering in both the stocks which had fallen sharply in the last few trading sessions.
