The US Tech Heavy Nasdaq hit a new lifetime high of 5,132.52 points This was higher than the intra day level hit in March 10, 2002 before the tech bubble burst.
Sentiments were extremely buoyant on the NASDAQ as investors continued to buy after the US Federal Reserve sounded more dovish than before on hiking interest rates.
This fuelled a rally on the US Dow and the NASDAQ which hit a record high. There could be more highs to come as investors cheer a delay in interest rate hikes in the US.
Meanwhile, the Indian markets rallied for the 6th straight day on hopes of a better monsoon and completely discounting worries over Greece.
