The US Tech Heavy Nasdaq hit a new lifetime high of 5,132.52 points This was higher than the intra day level hit in March 10, 2002 before the tech bubble burst.

This fuelled a rally on the US Dow and the NASDAQ which hit a record high. There could be more highs to come as investors cheer a delay in interest rate hikes in the US.

Meanwhile, the Indian markets rallied for the 6th straight day on hopes of a better monsoon and completely discounting worries over Greece.
